Ingredients

  • Soya chunks – required quantity
  • 4–5 dry red chillies
  • 1 tbsp cumin seeds
  • 4–5 garlic cloves (raw)
  • 1 onion – thinly sliced
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • Salt – as required
  • 1.5 tbsp oil + ½ tsp oil (separately used)
  • A pinch of fenugreek seeds

Instructions

Step 1: Dry roast red chillies and cumin seeds until lightly charred and aromatic.

Step 2: Crush the roasted spices partially in a mortar and pestle.

Step 3: Add raw garlic cloves and crush again to a coarse paste. Set aside.
