Ingredients
- 2 cups makhana
- 1 tsp ghee or 1 stick butter
- 1 tsp Errakaaram™ Fresh Spicy Indian Chutney
- Salt to taste
- Sev
- Chopped onion
- Chopped coriander leaves
Instructions
Step 1: In a pan over low to medium heat, roast the makhana in a small amount of ghee or butter until they turn crisp (about 4–5 minutes), stirring frequently.
Step 2: Add the remaining ghee or butter and Errakaaram™ Fresh Spicy Indian Chutney to the warm pan.
Step 3: Toss the roasted makhana well so they’re evenly coated with the spicy mix.
Step 4: Sprinkle salt to taste and mix thoroughly.
Step 5: Let the makhana cool slightly.
Step 6: Top with sev, chopped onion, and coriander leaves just before serving for extra crunch and flavor.
